The implementation of this activity aims to provide transformative policy formulations (game changers) and action plans that accelerate and optimise the development of the housing, drinking water, sanitation, and waste sectors, supporting quality, livable, and sustainable urban development. This policy is designed to fulfil access to basic services, strengthen cross-sectoral governance, reduce environmental impact, and mitigate the risks of climate change. Through strategic measures taken from this transformative policy, it is hoped that inclusive, efficient, and adaptive solutions and action plans will be created to improve the quality of life of the community in achieving the targets of the 2025-2045 RPJPN and the 2025-2029 RPJMN.
The objectives of the “Formulation of Transformative Policies (Game Changers) and Action Plans for the Housing, Drinking Water, Sanitation, and Waste Management Sectors” are to provide transformative policy concepts in the housing, drinking water, sanitation, and waste management sectors that can be adapted by stakeholders related to the output objectives, which include:
1. The formulation of a Transformative Policy Concept Study in the Housing, Drinking Water, Sanitation, and Waste Management Sectors, which includes strategic steps to improve access, service quality, and cross-sector governance.
2. The implementation of a workshop on the Transformative Policy Concept in the Housing, Drinking Water, Sanitation, and Waste Management Sectors to disseminate the transformative policy concept that has been developed so that it can be used as a reference for policies and strategies by local governments and related institutions/agencies.
